Lot Essay

Consigned by a private collector this ref. 18239 stands out by its dial, the rarer walnut wood version with silver graphics, as opposed to the more common birch burl and mahogany, beautifully harmonizing with the white gold case of understated elegance.

It is furthermore preserved in very good overall condition, still retaining also the original bracelet.

Amongst the most iconic and collectible model of Rolex, the Day-Date was launched in 1956 and kept throughout the years its unique design and aesthetic appeal. Often representing the more playful side of Rolex, the Day-Date follows trends with ease and is offered in an impressive variety of versions.
