The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case: In very good condition with light scratches.The case is in generally good condition, minor surface scratches, the reference and serial number to the outside case back are clear. Traces of handling on the lugs.
Dial: The dial is in very good condition. The hands show only slight surface wear and are slightly oxidised. There is a slight spot on the dial between 5 and 6.
Overall condition: Very good for its age.
