The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case: The case is in good condition, with minor signs of wear. The case back shows signs of wear. There is a deep scratch on the back of the case. The watch was polished. The bezel is in excellent condition for his age, with signs of wear.
Dial: Original and nice. Very light spots on the dial. No luminous reaction to the hands and hour markers.
Buckle Clasp: Minor signs of wear.
Overall condition: Very good for its age.
