The movement is fully jewelled to the hammers and has wolf’s tooth winding and bimetallic compensation balance, the repeating of the hours, quarters an minutes is performed by two hammers on two coiled goings. Displayed under a glazed cover beneath the cuvette, so that its beauty and intricacy can be admired at any time by the owner.

The dial design is inspired by French clocks and watches of the mid-18th century with Roman numerals and larger outer Arabic five-minute numerals, the gilt dot minute markers and ‘Louis XV’ hands add a dash of splendour.
