Lot Essay

Produced for 3 years between 1969 and 1972, this rare and sought-after reference was limited to approximately 1000 pieces and fitted with the world's first automatic chronograph caliber, later used by Rolex on Daytona reference 16520.

Nicknamed "Cover girl" by collectors after appearing on the cover of the book by author Manfred Rössler about the history of Zenith watches, this watch rarely appears on the public market and will please collectors who are looking for a historically important watch.
