Lot Essay

Reference 3796 is Patek Philippe’s last classic size “original” Calatrava. It was in production from 1982 until the late 1990s and replaced reference 96 from which it differs only by the sapphire crystal and the new caliber 215 PS. It was available in all three gold colors and in platinum, with a variation of dial layouts.
