Lot Essay

Offered in excellent overall condtion, the present watch is numbered 36 of a limited edition of 50 pieces only. With a retail price of 380'000 USD including VAT. The present timepiece is part of the most complicated timepieces ever made by the brand and represents a unique opportunity for collectors to own an unworn example of this rarefied model.

The model MP-02 Key of Time is a watch that allows the wearer the ability to manage the passing of time as he wishes with a three-position crown that enables him to "modulate" the speed at which the hours and minutes pass.

4x Slower: to slow down the speed of the watch hands, dividing time by four, thus one conventional hour is represented as a quarter of an hour.

Real Time: to retain normal time, thus one conventional hour equals one hour.

4x Faster: to accelerate the speed of the hand, multiplying time by four, thus a conventional quarter of an hour is represented as one hour.
