The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in good condition with normal signs of wear throughout and with a strong patina to the case. The hallmarks are crisp to the outside of the lugs at 7 and 11 o’clock. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. There is very faint “bleeding” around the outer of the sub-seconds register. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
