The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case shows signs of wear throughout and has a patina. It appears the crown was replaced. The inside case back has watchmaker’s marks. The case, movement and dial are signed. The dial has two cracks near 8 o’clock and a drag mark outside of the 3 o’clock hour marker. The hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The inside front cover has watchmaker’s marks. The watch was originally a pocket watch and there are no notes of it being converted in Patek Philippe's archives. An Extract from the Archives cannot be issued. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
