The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The present lot is offered in very good overall condition. The dial is nice, with light patina forming on the applied numerals. The dial has been cleaned in the past. There are some spots of discoloration and light settled dust. The case is very good with light scratches and scuffs throughout, commensurate with age. The case also displays wear, commensurate with age. The initials on the case back are shallow, however they are still visible as “F.S.M. Jr”. The cuvette is in very good condition condition, with some very light scratches, and is open without inscription. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The split seconds chronograph is functioning. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
