The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The present lot is offered in good overall vintage condition. The dial is very good, with all lume plots present. The case is good with several light scratches and scuffs commensurate with age. There are light signs of prior polishing. However, the hallmark stamps on the back of the lugs are crisp. The “tree bark” style bezel is nice and sharp. The inside case back is stamped 16000. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The quickset date function is working. The day and date also progress properly when the hour hand passes 12. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
