The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in good overall condition. The case shows normal signs of wear throughout and has been lightly and evenly polished. The backs of the lugs have scratches from the spring bars. The inside case back is stamped ‘1016’ and ‘II.69’ and has watchmaker’s marks. The dial is a ‘mark I’ and appears to be an original in good condition. The minute and hour hand appear to have been relumed. The crystal has few light scratches. The bracelet is in good condition with normal signs of wear and light stretch and appears to be original. The end links appear to be later. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
