Lot Essay

The IWC Mark XII is a modern classic with design elements coming from pilot and military watches. The Mark XII has a utilitarian design with a very legible dial and great functionality. This particular watch is a part of a limited edition created especially for Giorgio Latuada, an importer at the time. This particular limited edition is made distinct from the regular model by having the updated ETA movement, a 'glossy' blue dial with GL added to the lower half, and a lightweight titanium case.
