Lot Essay

This superb and highly rare open face Vacheron Constantin pocket watch has an attractive and sporty aesthetic thanks to the two-tone silvered "sector" dial which wonderfully pops in certain lighting. The dial features collector-favored engraved-enamel inscriptions which has helped the timepiece remain well-preserved and in very good overall condition. Furthermore, the "Staybrite" stainless steel is also signed "Fab Suisse" on its interior, indicating that it was manufactured for the French market. Its bow is a playful curved shape, complementing the tall knurled crown that makes it very easy to operate.
