Lot Essay

Initially released for the US Market in the late 1950's, and produced from only the Jaeger-LeCoultre Quartermaster is an extremely rare and unseen example of vintage 24 hour dial displays. Consigned from Hawaii, the present quartermaster is superb, the case appears unpolished and the original lume still reacts when geigered. Bearing movement number 1305438, the present timepiece is dated to approximately the early production of the Quartermaster.
