Lot Essay

Fresh to market and from the family of the original owner, the present lot is signed ‘HOX’ to the movement indicating it was intended for import to the United States. Furthermore interestingly, this watch is accompanied by a ‘Brooklyn’ error buckle in which the US supplier based out of Brooklyn, New York provided Patek Philippe with buckles spelled incorrectly reading ‘PATEK PHILLIPE.’
