Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Movement: The movement is running at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch. Dial: The dial is in overall excellent condition, given the age of the watch, with light spotting at the bottom and a scratch at 9 o'clock. Case: The case is well-preserved with sharp lines and has light to moderate surface and nicks. One of the hallmarks is crisp and defined and the other has fading. Buckle: The buckle is generic as the Extract from the Archives confirms that the watch was sold without a strap. Overall Condition: Very good
