The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing, and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended at the purchaser's discretion. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: The dial shows signs of aging and wear throughout. The hands have a aging and wear. The hour hand may be a later replacement, and the crystal was replaced.
Case: The case has scratches and nicks throughout.
Buckle: The stainless steel buckle is generic.
Overall Condition: Very good

The watch is sold and delivered with a Christie's branded strap; the original strap is not included in the sale.

For that reason, watches with water resistant cases may not be waterproof, and we recommend you have them checked by a competent watchmaker before use.
