The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Movement: The movement is running at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The watch was freshly serviced in November 2024. The movement has not been tested for accuracy.
Dial: The dial is in excellent overall condition with a small "radium burn" from the hands sitting in the same position for a very long time. The luminous plots are well-preserved and the watch has a very strong reaction to Geiger counter and light reaction to UV light. The hands show signs of aging.
Case: The case is overall well-preserved and the gold has developed a patina in some areas. The case has surface level scratches and very light nicks, and the bezel is sharp and appears to be unpolished. The crystal has some scuffs and is a service replacement. Hallmarks are crisp and well-defined.
Buckle: The buckle has surface level scratches and wear throughout.
