Lot Essay

The present timepiece is an attractive and well-preserved example of the two-body reference 6034. The overall condition is further enhanced by the attractive cream color dial which is pleasantly contrasted by the red and blue telemeter and a tachymeter scales.

A further noteworthy fact is the designation ‘ROW’ engraved on the movement, confirming that the original destination for this watch was the North American market.

Reference 6034
Two-body case reference 6034 was introduced to the international watch market in 1950. In production for only five years, it was equipped with the reliable manual-winding Valjoux 72 calibre and characterized by the word 'Antimagnetic' on the dial, as well as having both a telemetre and a tachymetre scale. Equipped with smooth bezel and round chronograph buttons, the water-resistant watch with screw back has an elegant and sporty flair.
