The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing, and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended at the purchaser's discretion. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Winding crown is only operating in one direction with some inconsistency.
Dial: The dial shows light signs of age with light debris. The hands show light signs of age.
Case: The case has scratches and light nicks throughout. Hallmarks are visible with fading.
Bracelet: The bracelet has scratches and wear throughout. The hallmark is visible with fading.
Overall condition: Very good

Please note that the bracelet size is measured with the watch head attached.

We do not give a warranty that any watch or clock is in good working order or whether it can be accepted for service or serviced by its manufacturer. (c) Most watches have been opened to find out the type and quality of movement. For that reason, watches with water resistant cases may not be waterproof, and we recommend you have them checked by a competent watchmaker before use.
