Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing, and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended at the purchaser's discretion. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: The dial and hands show virtually no signs of wear.
Case: The case has light to moderate scratches and nicks throughout. Hallmarks are crisp and defined.
Buckle: The buckle has light scratches and wear throughout. The hallmarks are crisp and defined.
Accessory: The presentation box insert is flaking.
Overall Condition: Very good

The watch is sold and delivered with a Christie's branded calf leather strap; the original strap is not included in the sale.

We do not give a warranty that any watch or clock is in good working order or whether it can be accepted for service or serviced by its manufacturer. Certificates are not available unless described in the catalogue.

(c) Most watches have been opened to find out the type and quality of movement. For that reason, watches with water resistant cases may not be waterproof, and we recommend you have them checked by a competent watchmaker before use.
