Produced in the early 1990s and limited to only 250 examples, the present Vacheron Constantin reference 43040 represents some of the most charming and innovative timepieces ever manufactured by the brand. During this period, the Maison was inspired on their historical past to incorporate interesting complications into their watches. The present watch is perfect sized at 36 mm. and is 7 mm. thin, but impressively has a jumping hours mechanism with radial mystery minutes display.
