Lot Essay

Introduced in 2003, the Royal Oak 26007BA.OO.D088CR.01 was a limited edition of 400 pieces created in collaboration with Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The actor has been a long time connoisseur of Audemars Piguet and various timepieces have been created to honour the hero of the 'End of Days' and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines'.

The caseback is engraved with an autograph of Arnold Schwarzenegger, an inspiration reminder of the man who epitomises the American Dream, beginning his career as Mr. Universe and going on to become the elected Governor of California.
