Movement: The movement is ticking at the time of cataloguing, and all functions are working; however, a service is recommended at the purchaser's discretion. Christie’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Dial: The dial and hands have light debris.
Case: The case has very light surface level scratches and wear. Hallmarks are crisp and defined.
Clasp: The clasp has light surface level scratches and wear. Hallmarks are crisp and defined.

(b) As collectors' watches and clocks often have very fine and complex mechanisms, a general service, change of battery or further repair work may be necessary, for which you are responsible. We do not give a warranty that any watch or clock is in good working order or whether it can be accepted for service or serviced by its manufacturer. Certificates are not available unless described in the catalogue.

(c) Most watches have been opened to find out the type and quality of movement. For that reason, watches with water resistant cases may not be waterproof, and we recommend you have them checked by a competent watchmaker before use.
