Lot Essay

The present lot, Vacheron Constantin reference 7401 is a very rare 18k yellow gold ultra-thin automatic wristwatch. What makes the watch very special is that the dial is only signed Cartier, a striking difference considering that almost every other known reference 7401 is signed Vacheron Constantin or double signed. The 18k yellow gold case and movement of the present timepiece are manufactured and signed by Vacheron Constantin.
