The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is slight canvas draw to the upper left corner. There are some scattered linear abrasions predominantly to the lower right quadrant and left horizontal edge. There are some scattered handling marks and craquelure in places predominantly to the extreme horizontal edges. When examined under ultra violet light, there are some areas which fluoresce in a manner consistent with inpainting. Subject to the forgoing it is our view that the work appear to be in generally good condition.
