About the artist

Aston Martin's DNA and artistic style can be summed up in three words: 'power', 'beauty' and 'soul'. Like the double helix, each Aston Martin comprises a vast number of individual elements that work in harmony. Craftsmanship runs through every sports car, and the handcrafted interior combines beautiful, high quality materials with exquisite detailing. It's a handcrafted work of art and no two are the same, just as the life that DNA creates is infinitely variable. The sculpture has been trimmed in fine leather, inviting people to touch its surfaces and experience the crafted soul of an Aston Martin.

The Sculptures are a hand painted decorative finish with a tough exterior glaze over the top. However like any decorative painted exterior finish it would need annual maintenance to keep it looking like new. Inside they will last indefinitely but outside they will suffer just like another garden sculpture from the harshness of the seasons. Many previous trail pieces have lived outside but have needed annual repair and as the years pass this starts to become more complex and less satisfactory for the owners. We recommend that for a long and healthy life your sculpture lives indoors.
