Details
Ridge’s winemakers refer to their winemaking technique not as “natural”, which they believe to be vague and insufficient, but rather as “Pre-Industrial”. They embrace the techniques used before the Prohibition, which lead to more complex, better-aging wines than industrial practices do. Ridge Monte Bello, though enjoyable while young, develop their full depth and complexity after at least ten years of aging.
