The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

QUAN KUI – There are worm holes, mould marks all through the scroll, a few areas of paper loss, and a vertical fold mark in the centre of the scroll; overall fair condition.

GONG YOUHUI - Most areas of both scrolls are with creases, cracks, paper loss and a few mould and water marks; overall poor condition.
