With channelled foliate-carved frames and cartouche-shaped backs on cabriole legs, stamped ‘C. F. NORMAND’, two with further stamp 'G.B.', redecorated, the tapestry probably conceived for the suite with some restoration
The canapé: 4212 in. (108 cm.) high; 79 in. (200 cm.) wide; 31 in. (79 cm.) deep
The fauteuils à la reine: 3714 in. (95 cm.) high; 2712 in. (70 cm.) wide; 28 in. (71 cm.) deep

Four fauteuils à la reine by Normand and with the same 'G.B.' stamp, apparently en suite and retaining the same tapestry coverings which were acquired from Giuseppe Rossi in 1969, were sold Christie's, London, 4 July 2017, lot 74 (£8,125).
