The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This commode is in generally good overall condition.
The marble is probably contemporary but has been later restored with steel bracing inserted to the uderside and some reshaping to the edges. There are minor repairs to the structural timbers, including, but not limited to the replacement of the upper top rail to the back, this appears to be an old repair.
Cleaned and repolished with minor repairs and replacements evident to the veneers. The lower part of the rear right-hand leg repaired and possibly partially replaced. This is well matched and not conclusive.
Slight shrinkage cracking overall.
Mounts and locks replaced, minimal scarring visible, minor patches of replaced veneer as a consequence.
Overall minor knocks, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
In generally good decorative and structural condition and ready to use.
