The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good overall condition.
The marble is a 20th century replacement.
The stamps are to the front right-corner.
Some mounts a little loose. The mounts probably original but the angle-mounts have been moved slightly and all have been electro-gilt at some time.
There is minor shrinkage and cracking throughout, notably there is a horizontal crack to the fall with minor consequent chipping and loss to the veneers and there is a narrow vertical crack to the right-hand door.
Minor localissed lifting, losses, repairs and restoration to the veneers throughout as to be expected and the whole has probably been cleaned and repolished at some time. There is some slight discrepancy to the colouring ot the fronts of the stationary drawers to the interior, possibly suggesting some repair. There are minor replacements/repairs to the internal carcase timbers around the mid-point to the interior, these are only visible from inside the top of the base cupboard only. There is a large veneer chip to the edge of the frieze to the lower right-hand end.
Overall minor knocks, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
In generally good decorative and structural condition and ready to use.
