The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In reasonably good overall condition.
The whole has been cleaned and repolished at some time.
There are minor repairs to the veneers and to the carcase consistent with age and relatively light use: including to the drawer runners overall and the internal left-hand runner/drawer support is a little loose. Minor veneer chips and losses including to the inside edge of the front leg to the left-hand edge of the commode.
Handles and escutcheons replaced. Slight shrinkage and cracking throughout, notably at the right hand end of the divider between the third and fourth drawers.
The drawers with various crayon numbering and there is a faint pencil inscription to the underside of the bottom drawer.
Traces of apparently inactive, historic woodworm.
Overall minor knocks, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
In generally good decorative and structural condition and ready to use.
