The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The upholstery tired but the frames are generally sound.
There is a well repaired break to the front right leg of one chair. The chairs have probably been regilt at some time, the present finish is worn from recent use. Traces of woodworm.
The seats have been later sprung and the upholstery to the front edge of both is defective. There is stuffing coming out of the underside of the chairs. The velvet covering is worn and has worn through to the front of the seats and to the arms, the contrasting fabric to the back has also split.
The frames relatively firm.
