The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The first leaf-moulded drip-pans with restoration to leaf tips and some overpainting. All three candle nozzles broken through underneath drip pans and restuck, with some overpainting. Typical chipping, losses and minor restoration to applied decoration. Very fine hairline crack running across base approximately 9 cm. long.
The second with one drip-pan with tip of leaf chipped off and lacking and restoration to three other leaf tips. All three sconces broken through below drip pans and restuck with traces of overpainting to two. Some filling material at top of stem, where it meets the three branch section. Chip to tip of one palm frond. Two flat chips to edge of base, the largest 0.8 cm. across. Short firing crack to underside of base. Typical chipping and losses to applied decoration.
