The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

These highly decorative chairs are in good overall condition. There is probably some refreshment and retouching to the decoration overall, especially to the green painted borders and the varnish has yellowed with age. The finish is generally discoloured and a little worn with some crazing and loss but an attractive patina overall.
The late 20th century covering a little dusty but generally good and serviceable with little evidence of wear. Minor repairs to some joints and some rails re-edged to the top surface to the underside, beneath the upholstery.
Traces of apparently inactive, historic woodworm.
Overall minor knocks, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
In generally good decorative and structural condition and ready to use.
