The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In generally good overall condition.
Traces of apparently inactive, historic woodworm as well as some possibly artificial woodworm holes to the decoration.
As mentioned in the cataloguing, these chairs have been redecorated and there are traces of earlier schemes to the underside, also they are oak, so may not have originally been intended to be painted.
Later strengthening blocks added to the corners to the underside. Recaned, the caning in good condition.
The 20th century squabs a little marked, dusty and worn but serviceable, one with the tassels detached.
Overall minor knocks, chips, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
In generally good decorative and structural condition and ready to use.
