Details
Comprising a giltwood fauteuil, a blue-grey painted and parcel-gilt fauteuil and a pair of pale blue and parcel-gilt side chairs, the fauteuils covered in pale blue embossed velvet, the side chairs with yellow-velvet squab cushions, one side chair with traces of ink inscription, all redecorated
The giltwood fauteuil: 3712 in. (95 cm.) high; 2512 in. (65 cm.) wide; 27 in. (68.5 cm.) deep
The second fauteuil: 3312 in. (85.5 cm.) high; 23 in. (59 cm.) wide; 24 in. (61 cm.) deep
The pair of chairs: 3712 in. (95 cm.) high; 2034 in. (53 cm.) wide; 22 in. (56 cm.) deep and slightly smaller
Provenance
The fauteuils acquired by Giuseppe Rossi in 1969, and 1960 respectively.
