Keen for a reunion with his "darling," Cohen’s writes from his terrace in Hydra. He fills Marianne in on “a marvelous woman” he has hired to cook and clean. Named Kivia, she is “waiting for you to tell her what to do.” He closes: “I miss you so much. Can’t you come sooner? All my love, Leonard.”
