The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The vertical edges are deckled. There are some faint handling marks in places to the extreme edges and the paper undulates presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. There is a minute repaired tear to the lower horizontal edge measuring approximately 1in. in length, which occurred in the artist’s studio. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
