The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A small area of light fritting to the bottom left rim. A stable, unobtrusive, hairline crack to the glaze at the base of the foremost horn, with a tiny associated loss to the one of the raised lines. A further more minor crack to the glaze, at the goat's nose. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing and minor wear to the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
