The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Présence de quelques très légères traces de frottement par endroits le long des bords, probablement dues à un ancien encadrement. Examinée à la lumière UV: présence de deux points de repeint dans le quart supérieur droit. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. There are some minor rubbing in places along the edges, probably due to a former frame. Examined under UV light: there are two points of inpainting to the upper right quadrant. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
