The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected inside its frame therefore the back and sides could not be checked. There are some minute white fluff adhered to the thick impasto at the lower right corner. When examined under UV light, there are no signs of inpainting.
