The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sheet floats freely. Faintly mat-stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Artist's tack-holes to the four corners. Faint diagonal flattened crease to the upper right quadrant and small creases to the corners. A few minute nicks to the extreme edge. Edges lightly deckled. Minute tear to the right upper edge. A few handling creases and scuff marks, most notably along the edges. A few pinpoints of foxing. The line is strong. No restorations detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
