Fleetwood Pellew Wilson (1808-1888) was a rich industrialist who made much of his fortune as a ship owner and coffee planter in Bahia, Brazil. His London residence was at 30 Portman Square, he had property in Scotland and acquired Wappenham Manor, near Towcester, Northamptonshire. His only daughter and heiress Frances Fleetwood Wilson (1850-1919) married Prince Alexei Dolgorouki, a Russian Prince and Chamberlain to the Tsar, in 1898.
