The edges slightly uneven and with artist’s tack holes, small paper losses, repaired tears and flattened in places (mainly along the upper edge). An horizontal flattened fold running along the upper edge. A small hole and a few minute areas of paper skinning towards the centre of the upper edge. Some gold paint remnants along the upper part of the left edge and some glue remnants at the lower right corner. Some mount- and light-staining with a few associated small spots of foxing in places. A few water-stains in places (some probably dating from the artist studio) and a further stain towards the centre of the left edge. Medium is strong.
