The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
(i): The sheet is held with mounting strips. There is minute bumping to the upper left extreme corner and very faint rubbing to the extreme edges. There are a few pinpoint accretions to the upper right corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
(ii): The sheet is laid down to its underlying support. There are some minor accretions and spots of bumping in places to the margins, not visible when framed. There are faint handling marks and hairline abrasions in places to the lower horizontal edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
