The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. Une très légère ondulation de la toile est visible le long du bord supérieur, vers la gauche. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques très légères traces de frottement superficielles, seulement visibles en lumière rasante, sont visibles par endroits sur la surface, principalement à la périphérie de l'œuvre. Présence de quelques petites accrétions par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: des repeints sont visibles dans l'angle inférieur droit et le long du bord inférieur, vers la droite. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. The canvas undulates slightly along the upper edge, towards the left. The surface is very slightly dusty. Minor superficial rubbing, only visible under racking light, is in places to the surface, mostly to the periphery of the work. There are a few small accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: some inpaintings are visible to the lower right corner and along the lower edge, towards the right. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
