The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right.
- very pale light-staining at the sheet edges.
- a few small and unobtrusive handling creases in the margins (mainly visible in a raking light).
- very occasional and unobtrusive pinpoint foxspots.
- a small, pale handling mark near the right sheet edge, at centre,
- light skinning along the upper sheet edge verso.
- two pinpoint holes at the extreme left and right of the composition, presumably caused from the registration of the work.
Otherwise as described and in good condition.
